Amanda Thurman Joins Rebalance as Vice President, Retirement Services Expanding Firm’s Footprint in the Small Business Retirement Savings Marketplace

Bethesda, MD – October 6, 2020 – Rebalance, a mission-driven, award-winning investment firm committed to offering premium retirement investment plans to small business owners and their employees, has announced the addition of Amanda Thurman to the team as Vice President, Retirement Services.

In her role as Vice President, Retirement Services, Amanda will be an integral part of the team responsible for growing Rebalance’s small business retirement services programs. The company’s flagship retirement product, Better K, was designed to dramatically improve 401(k) options for small business owners and their employees. Amanda will work directly with small business owners realize their 401(k) plan potential and ensure their employees receive the right retirement benefits.

Amanda brings nearly a decade of unique retirement service experience to her position at Rebalance. She comes to Rebalance from Paychex, a leading provider of payroll, HR, retirement, and insurance services. In her role as Regional Retirement Sales Representative, Amanda built and sustained relationships with small business owners. She finished in the top five percent of her peers year over year with regards to revenue and client retention and designed over 1,000 retirement plans.

Amanda has a masters degree in mathematics, and is well-equipped to help business owners find a plan that works for their company within their budget. When she isn’t building relationships and crafting retirement plan designs, you can find San Diego-based Amanda at the beach. She enjoys stand-up paddle boarding, scuba diving, wake surfing and kayaking.
